Weekend in Review: Friday (14 Sept) My Life 15 SEP 2007

JP PietersenAnother half day today, meaning I only worked a full day twice this week :)

I drove home and hopped straight into bed – I was completely knackered out from the previous late night. 3 hours of sleep is simply not enough for me anymore – I AM getting old. After a blissful afternoon nap, I set about doing some chores and work around the flat, even popping out for a nice stroll to the close by Pick n Pay to do some shopping.

Entertainment wise, I played NBA Live throughout the afternoon, finally managing to win my first game (among the countless losses I have already endured). I still haven’t managed to emulate that victory though :(

Seeing as I was home along this evening, I organized to come over and watch the big game with Ryan and Pops at their place. South Africa versus England, destined to be a cracker of a game. Turned out it wasnt, with South Africa crushing an inspired England 36-0. South Africa controlled the entire game, leaving England with little to work with. Thank goodness Mom made some delicious chocolate cake to entertain us during the slow parts of the game.

The game only finished at 23:00 last night, and I came straight home, jumped into bed, pulled out my Bleach manga and tried to fall asleep amidst all the noise of one mother of a party the people above me were hosting.

I slept well, thank you very much – nothing keeps me awake! :)
