Year One My Life 09 JUN 2008

ChantelleOne year. Twelve months. Three hundred and sixty five days. Today that is the exact amount of time that I have been going out with a girl that can only be described as the love of my life.

Ever since I met up with her for the very first time at Mugg & Bean after chatting to her for a little bit online, my life has been complete. From those early days of camping out almost on a permanent basis at the Sunbell Guesthouse in Bellville where she worked (which happened to incidentally be right across the road from where I stayed) to those sometimes inconvenient times when she stayed out in Gordon’s Bay and I in Bellville, to today where we now live under the same roof and share our lives so much so that you could almost call us an old married couple.

Unbelievably enough, for me this year has been nothing but laughs, smiles and joy, something I would never have thought possible. It turns out that this is the woman who I am meant to share my life with and for that I can only thank the good Lord for allowing us the opportunity to finally meet one another in the first place.

Chantelle, I love you and can’t think of anyone else that I would rather spend my life with.

Here’s to a fabulous year past and to the many fabulous years that are still to come. Simply put, I’m nuts about you and everything about you!

Love ya babes! *mwah* :)
