MyChannel24 Reviews General Nonsense 07 AUG 2008

24comNews24 has certainly been expanding its online presence in the last couple of years, proliferating to numerous branded websites and services as such, and their latest drive (as with everyone who is anyone on the web) is to try and incorporate as much user-generated content as possible.

One of their newest ventures is the so called MyChannel24 that allows you to submit your material, be it reviews, letters, videos or news articles in the hopes that they deem it worthy enough to publish on the site.

As it is, I sent through a number of my movie reviews and cartoons through after seeing a call for submissions on their site, and was pleasantly surprised at the prompt feedback I received from them. As it turns out, my first review, that of Kung Fu Panda, is already up on the site and I’m absolutely…

…not that thrilled about it.

They’ve pretty much butchered the review, taking out huge chunks of the original piece and leaving a review of quality which in all honesty, I’m not so sure I want to be associated with.

I don’t know. What do you guys think?
