Ah ha! It’s been nearly a month of inactivity after being sidelined by the one sickness after the other, but I’m finally back. Last night saw me back at the gym for the first time in weeks, and man did it feel good to be back in the saddle.
That said, my first gym session was even less impressive than what I had hoped for, with me not exactly spending a record amount of time behind the weights. But never mind that – at least it gives me room for improvement!
And this afternoon I plan on working up my fitness just that little by playing a bit of solo squash during my lunch break.
Hopefully the caretaker won’t need to stretcher me off the court! :)
