Maybe I’m shooting myself in the foot here, but it feels like ages ago since I last received a traffic fine. Eager to find out whether this feeling was misplaced or not, I dug up these two online traffic fine view/pay sites.
Both sites are pretty simplistic in look and use, requiring a simple registration process that takes literally a minute of your time and then allows you to view any fines associated to your ID number. Unfortunately not all municipalities are online yet, but between the two of them you should be pretty covered.
As it turns out, my feeling of sainthood on the roads was indeed not misplaced: according to the system my last fine was way back in January 2005. Nice :)
(Which also then explains why Chantelle keeps accusing me of driving like a grandpa whenever she rides with me!)
