…and it is about time too! Congratulations to Sir Terry Pratchett who has finally been given the royal nod and been awarded a knighthood – not a bad way to start the new year eh?
Terry Pratchett, for those of you who don’t recognise the name is the man behind the phenomenally successful Discworld book series that has helped him sell more than 55 million books around the world, and who also just happens to be my absolute favourite writer of all times, period.
Apparently on receiving the award, he is quoted as saying: “There are times when phrases such as ‘totally astonished’ just don’t do the job. I am of course delighted and honoured and, needless to say, flabbergasted.”
So once again, well done Mr. Pratchett! :)
