For Sale: Trojan Sit Up 100 Bench – R200 For Sale 27 MAY 2010

* Please note that this is an old post – the bench was sold within a couple of days of posting this, i.e. it was gone by June 2010 already! *

I currently have a second-hand Trojan Sit Up 100 bench up for sale, going for a pretty low R200 (negotiable).

This sit up bench allows for a maximum user weight of 100 kg and is ideal for all of those keen on doing a variety of sit ups and other stomach exercises in order to firm up that tummy in the privacy of their own home!

(Also, it doubles as a pretty inexpensive inclined bench against which to do incline bench presses if you are keen on working on those pecks, arms and shoulders!)

It is pretty lightweight, of a decent build quality, has nice spongy cushions for your knees and ankles, a padded surface for your back and features adjustable leg positions meaning that you can change the incline height whenever you want to.

The bench folds up and can be stored in an upright or horizontal position, meaning it can happily be packed away behind the door, under the bed or even in a broom cupboard when not in use.

The reason for selling is pretty simple. Firstly, we have our first child on the way and thus now need to make some space in our small flat for the baby room. Secondly, I have since exceeded the maximum weight limit since purchasing the bench a year or two ago, rendering it pretty much useless to me for sit ups! :)

So in other words, a great little exercise helper that makes a good addition to any home gym collection, is in excellent condition, and is going for a tasty low price of R200!

  • tempting….. very tempting………… :-/ At present I just move the coffee table out of the way and do the sit ups on the mat in front of the tv. I don’t think the floor has a weight limit though.
Do you have a normal horizontal barbell bench? how about a bar bell rod? I want the barbell itself more than anything else…. at least I can do arm curls and other stuff with that. barbell bench not as useful as the floor (again for pushups, for me anyway). But what I really want is that door frame thingie for pullups.. if you have one of those at a good price I’ll defn take it.

    • I’m afraid not munaf. I’m keeping my weights and such, but busy getting rid of the bigger items that actually take up a lot of floor space.

  • Wow, I’m still getting phone calls to purchase this two years on. Better make an update to this post then…
