Digging sand out of her shoes. Had a chuckle, we followed these stairs off the beach, over the dunes and through the fynbos, only to end up in someone's backyard. As fun as the coastal walk was, the girls were not impressed with the myriad of sand flies infesting all the seaweed on the little beaches and bays that we needed to cross.
