What, who, where am I?!?
Craig Lotter is a web developer based in Gordon's Bay, South Africa, who seems completely incapable of shaking off that pesky inner child within, the one that forces him to love all things animated or hand drawn.
The Rugged Rock of Craig contains snippets of his life, popular culture and all the important things like anime, manga, games and comic books. The CodeUnit of Craig on the other hand contains the more serious stuff like code snippets and tutorials, while the House of C chronicles his foray into the world of web comics.
For which it never seems he has enough time anyway.

.Hack//Sign Character Guide

Tsukasa is the name of a sorceror player character stuck in ‘The World’. He/she is unable to log out of the game and return to the real world. worse than that, the memory of the real world has faded, and Tsukasa cannot remember much about his real life. Solitary by nature, Tsukasa is uneasy around other people. If an uncomfortable situation arises, he will simply teleport away instead of confront it. Continue reading

My Opinion Download… Sakigake!! Cromartie High School

Utter, absolute drivel. I’m not sure who in the right frame of mind can find this forced absurdity and parody even remotely funny, but let’s just say that I’m putting this one down as definitely not one of Production I.G.’s finest moments.

First Impressions… Queen’s Blade: Utsukushiki Toushi-tachi

Ero-anime Queen’s Blade proved to be a popular hit with Japanese (and Western fansub) audiences, first prompting a sequel to follow on from the original twelve episode run and now doing it all over again, with a 6 part OVA to round things off. Continue reading

My Opinion Download… Ippatsu Kiki Musume

1999′s Ippatsu Kiki Musume from Director Hiroyoshi Yoshida is certainly an interesting beast. Weighing in at 16 episodes long with a running time of just 4 minutes per episode, Miss Critical Moment (its English title in case you are wondering) takes the world’s most unluckiest (and possibly most durable) girl Kunyan, and forces her into the most improbable, life threatening situations from which she somehow needs to extract herself. My Opinion Download… Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt

A little bit silly and pointless, something you can watch on your own when you don’t feel like serious television and just want to take in a little ridiculousness. Oh, and you probably need to be male and appreciate some juvenile humor as well. Continue reading
My Opinion Download… Haibane Renmei

Softly intriguing and well worth the watch if you would prefer a little more fantasy drama to your more explosive mecha habits. Continue reading

My Opinion Download… Oruchuban Ebichu

Oruchuban Ebichu, or Ebichu Minds the House, is a 1999 24 piece anime from Makoto Moriwaki and GAINAX which revolves around the precocious Ebichu, a talking hamster who is utterly devoted to her oft-indifferent owner, known only as OL (short for Office Lady). Ebichu is tasked with the household duties, but also takes a keen interest in her master and her relationship with Worthless Man, particularly their sex life. Continue reading
