What, who, where am I?!?
Craig Lotter is a web developer based in Gordon's Bay, South Africa, who seems completely incapable of shaking off that pesky inner child within, the one that forces him to love all things animated or hand drawn.
The Rugged Rock of Craig contains snippets of his life, popular culture and all the important things like anime, manga, games and comic books. The CodeUnit of Craig on the other hand contains the more serious stuff like code snippets and tutorials, while the House of C chronicles his foray into the world of web comics.
For which it never seems he has enough time anyway.

News Year’s Weekend 2011/2012

Ugh, it had to eventually come to an end, but of Tuesday 3rd of January 2012, I find myself firmly back behind the keyboard, banging out fresh new SurveyThumb code for my wage masters over at Touchwork. In truth, I … Continue reading

Goodbye 2011, Hello 2012

So the annual retrospective is upon us, and to be honest, 2011 proved not to be a very memorable in terms of personal growth year, completely unlike its predecessor 2010 which was filled to the brim with big and exciting … Continue reading

Photo Gallery: Feeding the Ducks at Sonstraal Dam (2012-01-01)

I’ve always loved heading over to Sonstraal Dam in Eversdal, armed with bread in hand and on a mission to feed the variety of ducks and geese that inhabit the dam. Now I get to pass on this tradition to … Continue reading

Photo Gallery: Monkey Town Excursion (2011-12-28)

Chantelle and I took Jessica for an outing to Monkey Town, the first time the two of us had been there in absolute years, and most definitely the first time for miss Jess. Needless to say, she enjoyed all the … Continue reading
