What, who, where am I?!?
Craig Lotter is a web developer based in Gordon's Bay, South Africa, who seems completely incapable of shaking off that pesky inner child within, the one that forces him to love all things animated or hand drawn.
The Rugged Rock of Craig contains snippets of his life, popular culture and all the important things like anime, manga, games and comic books. The CodeUnit of Craig on the other hand contains the more serious stuff like code snippets and tutorials, while the House of C chronicles his foray into the world of web comics.
For which it never seems he has enough time anyway.

Step Up to Blur, Karate and a little bit of Family Time

Had a good weekend this weekend, a more stay at home one than last weekend of course, but a good one nevertheless. Things kicked off with a rather poor movie choice for Friday evening’s entertainment, with Chantelle and myself opting to catch the newly released Step Up 3. Continue reading
Of Friends and Football

The task for the day was of course to break out the XBOX 360 and squeeze in as many FIFA World Cup 2010 simulation games in as possible, trying our best to predict or equal what has been and what is still to come in the real World Cup. Continue reading
Jackie Chan, Fantastic Four & Iron Man 2

I actually had a pretty decent weekend last weekend, despite the fact you can’t really look back at it and say, “wow, awesome, cool” or anything like that. As expected, Chantelle was back on full duty for the weekend and so Friday night saw me entertain myself, which pretty much meant some more 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa gaming action and the watching of a classic Hong Kong Jackie Chan piece, Crime Story. Continue reading

Games-Xetra Durbanville

I’ve mentioned before that our pals Andy (Andrea) and Albert Snyman went and opened a gaming store out in Durbanville called Games-Xetra and now thanks to some video magic from the ever creative Albert, here are two video adverts showcasing the new shop. Continue reading

The Long, Long Weekend

Well, we’re finally back from what has been an absolutely brilliant break from work, the excellent four day weekend courtesy of Easter Weekend. Unfortunately Chantelle worked every single day of my four days off, but luckily for me, I was able to sketch in some great social time dashed with a splash of personal time! Continue reading

The Dynamic Duo of Craig and… Dean

This week I decided to shake things up a bit and convince Ryan to allow us to host a Modern Warfare 2 evening at his 40 inch equipped pad with the help of my fabulously bling FaceBook event I created especially for the evening. Continue reading

No Break from being Social Just Yet

Wow. Serious, I’ll get around to organising another day in GB event when I get the chance boys, but before then I need my social calendar to calm down just that little bit and give me some time to breathe! ;) Continue reading
Of War and Heat

It’s bloody hot out here in Gordon’s Bay at the moment. But I’m sitting here, secretly hoping that the Spur ribs we just had won’t give us the runs tomorrow, and thankful that we once again have running water, after Gordon’s Bay went and lost most of its supply on Sunday afternoon, leaving most of its residents without much choice but to buy up every single liter of still water that the surrounding shops could supply.
