Argentinian cosplayer Kitty Honey (who often finds herself donning skintight latex outfits) takes a stab at the Danger Girl Freelance Operations Limited organisation and emerges dressed up from head to toe as the sassy Sydney Savage, whip and all!
Sydney Savage is the sassy and vivacious Danger Girl who fittingly originates from the picturesque continent of Australia.
Though often reprimanded for her wild and unorthodox ways, Sydney more often than not justifies her lawless techniques. More than any of the other Danger Girls, Sydney takes frequent advantage of her good looks…deploying her curvaceous form to distract and defeat the ladies’ primarily-male nemeses.
Sydney seems to have a love/hate relationship with Johnny Barracuda, who often makes sexualized passes at her which she either coyly accepts or acidicly rebuffs. Sydney also appears to have a crush on Batman/Bruce Wayne in the Batman/Danger Girl crossover.
Ikki Tousen made more of name for itself thanks to its penchant for short skirts, ripped clothing and ecchi situations that kept cropping up, instead of the great occasional fighting sequences and attached humour that went along with everything happening on screen.
Anyway, Argentinian cosplayer Kitty Honey dips her toe into the Ikki Tousen (aka Battle Vixens) universe and comes back up bringing to life the alluringly dangerous fighter, Housen Ryofu!
A strong bisexual fighter with a very promiscuous personality and a habit for dressing in skimpy outfits. She was very skilled at making chi blasts, and was in love with both Saji and her best friend Chinkyuu. She had a love-hate relationship with Saji, who she claims once raped her (Saji only half-denies this, claiming that she was not raped because she enjoyed it). Despite trying her best to escape her destiny, she ended up causing it anyway.
Afflicted with a deadly illness that would kill her before adulthood, she ended up being manipulated by Saji into causing Toutaku’s death. When she found out that Chinkyuu was raped, she went in search of revenge as her last living act. She was found by Kakouen, and the two fought each other. Kakouen’s skill added with Ryofu’s failing health was enough for Ryofu to be defeated. She was saved from Kakouen’s killing blow by Chinkyuu.
Realizing that she was moments away from dying, Ryofu and Chinkyuu then committed a double suicide, dying happily together as their predecessors did 1800 years before.
Hailing from Argentina, cosplayer Kitty Honey, known for her love of donning skintight latext outfits, struts her stuff as DC Comics’ Black Canary, taken from the hugely popular all female covert ops team, Birds of Prey.
Daughter of the original Black Canary, Dinah Lance certainly hasn’t had an easy life being a super hero. After being involved with Green Lantern for many years, and after a number of traumatic experiences and revelations, as well as the stripping of her natural ultrasonic scream (The Canary Cry), she eventually found purpose in her life once more when Oracle formed up the remarkably efficient Birds of Prey organization and immediately asked her to join.
An exceptional athlete with remarkable martial arts skills, Black Canary also happens to be an expert motorbike rider, meaning she is certainly not one to be underestimated. Never mind the fact that her now digitally enhanced ultrasonic scream is still a huge pain in the head!
Fan favourite graphic novel, Watchmen by Alan Moore receives some cosplay love in the form of Argentinian cosplayer Kitty Honey (known for her love of dressing up in skintight latext costumes) assuming the identity of the kick-ass Silk Spectre II.
Laurie Juspeczyk (Silk Spectre II) is the daughter of Sally Jupiter, the first Silk Spectre. Laurie’s mother apparently wanted her to follow in her footsteps and so she fought crime for ten years before the Keene Act banned vigilantes. Unlike the other protagonists, Silk Spectre was not based on a particular Charlton character, although her relationship with Dr. Manhattan is similar to that between Captain Atom and the heroine Nightshade
Laurie is kept on retainer by the government because of her relationship with Doctor Manhattan and lives on a government base at the beginning of the comic. When Doctor Manhattan leaves Earth, the government has her removed from the base and suspends her expense account, forcing her to move in with Dan, with whom she starts a romantic relationship. At the end of the eighth issue, Doctor Manhattan appears and takes her to Mars because he knows she wants to convince him to save the world.
On Mars, she realizes that The Comedian was her biological father. After the final encounter with Veidt at the end of the series, she assumes the identity of Sandra Hollis and continues her relationship with Dan. An offhand comment to Dan, in which she claims to want a better costume, with leather and a sidearm, implies she’s thinking to take over her late father’s identity, thus becoming the second Comedian.
Argentinian cosplayer Kitty Honey, who has a bit of a thing for wearing skintight latex costumes, goes to town and does a great job of bringing the femme fatale spy that is Black Widow to life for today’s cosplay entry!
Black Widow (Natalia “Natasha” Alianovna Romanova, also known as Natasha Romanoff) is a fictional character in the Marvel Comics Universe. She was created by editor and plotter Stan Lee, scripter Don Rico and artist Don Heck, and first appeared in Tales of Suspense No. 52 (April 1964). Originally a Russian KGB agent, events eventually see her rebelling against her own country and siding first with S.H.I.E.L.D followed by the Avengers.
The Black Widow is a world class athlete and gymnast, expert martial artist (including karate, judo, aikido, savate, various styles of kung fu, and boxing), marksman, and weapons specialist as well as having extensive espionage training. She is also an accomplished ballerina.
The Black Widow uses a variety of equipment invented by Soviet scientists and technicians, with later improvements by S.H.I.E.L.D. scientists and technicians. She usually wears distinctively shaped bracelets which fire the “Widow’s Bite” electro-static energy blasts that can deliver charges up to 30,000 volts, as well as “Widow’s line” grappling hooks, tear gas pellets.
She wears a belt of metallic discs, some with disc-charges containing plastic explosives, others have been shown to be compartments to house other equipment. Her costume consists of synthetic stretch fabric equipped with micro-suction cups on fingers and feet, enabling her to adhere to walls and ceilings.
Argentinian cosplayer Kitty Honey puts together today’s great Avengers cosplay, featuring none other than one of the strongest female heroes in the Marvel superhero lineup, Ms. Marvel!
Carol Danvers, a.k.a Ms. Marvel a.k.a Warbird a.k.a Binary has certainly been put through the wringer over the years in terms of continuity and back story, but as one of Marvel’s premier female superheroes, Ms. Marvel has served as a team member on The Avengers, X-Men, Starjammers and S.H.I.E.L.D.
She’s the reason Rogue has her more useful abilities and currently sports the powers of flight (at the speed of sound), strength, stamina, a useful “seventh sense” and of course the ability to blow things up.
In other words, a dangerous woman to be around.
