Maybe I’m spoilt by games and CDs, but I kind of expect a nice glossy inlay in anything that I purchase that comes in some sort of jewel case. I like these little bits of paper; it just seems to add a little something extra to the purchase. Now I don’t buy DVDs at all, so I don’t know what the norm is, but I must admit to being a little disappointed when my present to Chantelle finally arrived, namely the 7 disk Prison Break Season 1 box set.
As she excitedly tore the cellophane wrapper off the box cover and opened the case to reveal all 7 disks neatly packed in a niftily designed little box, my heart sank a little when I failed to spot any cool little titbits on the inside of the rather transparent case.
So my question is, is this the norm of DVD purchases? O.o
