Wow, nice surprise this morning to catch the old 5FM morning stalwart, Mark Gillman back on the 5FM wavelengths, being just as ‘Gilly’ as what he always used to be so early in the morning.
I wonder if he’s back at his mother station for good then? I for one certainly wouldn’t mind catching him on the old 5FM frequency a bit more permanently to be honest.
Not too many of today’s new generation radio jockeys can match up to the big names of the past like Gillman or Barney Simon as far as I am concerned! We’ve got to start training them better – or for a start at least just fire that ultra annoying KB off the air!
