Windows Command PromptSometimes, (and this is probably damn seldom if you think about it), you just NEED to run some or other command from the command prompt in the middle of a fresh Windows installation and setup, and luckily for you, Microsoft has always sneakily provided for it.

At any point during the Windows setup process, simply press Shift+F10 and you’ll be presented with your much desired, shiny black command prompt, though with this in mind, please don’t do anything stupid. Any command you do end up running is most likely just going to stuff up your brand new Windows installation, and I’m pretty sure you don’t want that.

So, you have been warned, use with caution (but damn, it’s cool to know that the option is still available to you!). Nifty.

Note: Apparently this functionality has been around since the days of Windows 2000 already. Quite frankly, I’m not too bothered in researching this claim! :P
