Jessica is pretty adept at climbing up and down stairs, able to entertain herself for at least 20 minutes by just sliding down and then climbing back up a single stair, like the one leading from the backdoor to outside.
However, what none of us realized is that she can handle quite a lot more than a single step at a time – like the big flight of stairs leading to the granny flat at Oupa and Ouma Montgomery’s house!
Needless to say, there was a lot of consternation and very careful supervision, but when my girl wants to do something then she wants to do something – and there is simply no stopping her! :)
And in case you’re wondering, she pretty much repeated this all afternoon!
