Last year Jessica joined me for the short 3km stroll around the still waters of Paardevlei in Somerset West. Following the good rains of winter everything was lovely and green (and very muddy), and there was a plethora of hairy worms lying around everywhere, happily fattening up for their big upcoming day of transformation.
Lots of bird life on the water and in the reeds (aka great for birdwatching), plenty of fresh air, and of course gorgeous skies with a picturesque view.
(And as much fun as it was watching Jessica making her way across the stone ‘bridge’, amazingly none of us actually ended up in the mud for a change!)
As always, a great outdoor space to enjoy a nice relaxing stroll in.
