With the worst of the global pandemic now somewhat behind us, its been good to see school life returning to some semblance of normality. One of those things to return has been school sports, and as such, January saw the girls’ school put on their annual Interhouse Athletics Day for both the kids and parents to enjoy.
Now none of my girls are particularly athletically inclined, but participating is something they both definitely do, and thus Chantelle and myself found ourselves in the stands for the day, baking in the sun, and wildly clapping and shouting each time Jessica and Emily came streaking (sometimes plodding) by!
I probably should have put some sunscreen on first.
