Just a note, but if you’re hanging around the Johannesburg area this weekend with nothing to do, why don’t you pop along to the Standard Bank Area to catch the 5th Commonwealth Karate Championships, a world-class karate event hosted proudly by South Africa in 2009? (It should be a kick! :P)
And on an even prouder note, Funakoshi Gordon’s Bay has a representative at the championships in the form of sensei Birgitt Smit’s young daughter, Anke, who we will all be holding thumbs for – Good luck Anke! :)
